Got in the mail a notice from the City about a rezoning meeting for a large new shopping centre at the southwest corner of Preston Ave and Circle Dr, developer is Northridge. The proposal is for a 23.9 acre site and would have approx.
270,000 square feet of commercial space!!! Since Stonebridge only has two main access points, Clarence and Preston, I would say traffic would be a major issue.

Also noticed there is a meeting for a "Rezoning Application for Elim Tabernacle - A proposal to develop 3 storey apartment style condos on the former Elim Tabernacle Church site." I thought it was previously announced that retail was going at this site?
