Poor Beekman. It looks so out of place in that picture. I'm not saying it's a bad building, but it looks lonely.

Back on topic - while the lack of progress in vertical height has been odd, it's been more surprising not to see any progress on the metal decking. I would at least expect to see that go up, even if the concrete workers are having issues with contracts.

I'm so happy to be in New York now to be able to see this landmark before it's built~ I hope I'll be back when it is finished! I took a couple of picture from Rockefeller Center yesterday. It will have an amazing impact!

Hopefully this weekend I will see it up close.

That's a phenomenal shot!

BTW, what the hell is that incredibly awkward looking building to the left of Woolworth?

Lightbulb CN Tower in Canada lights up,just like the Empire State Building...

Guys, just wanna show u a shot from my beautiful City Toronto,Canada,I can see it almost every days from my Condo Tower,it regulary changes colors for special events like Christmas or Halloween.....just to show u that CN Tower is lighted up..This would be awesome if we would do this with One World Trade Center...!!!

Those images are from Google.ca

That's another view at night, colors regulary change, just like the Empire State Building!

Thats a video, you've got to see it,it's awesome when lighted up...They should do it with One World Trade Center's spire or I don't know what..!!
• Video Link
from Youtube

CN Tower is 553.33 m (1,815.4 ft)U are in feets,I had forgot! lol

Just hope they would do the same with One World Trade Center's Spire or even, with the whole building!

This mash-up is to scale... I just replaced most of Jersey City with part of downtown Toronto from the same distance.

We should see some steel soon... They're placing the floor decking on the upper most floors today.
