The cladding on this is truly beautiful, more so I think than anything I've seen recently. So so so hope I get to see this around New Year's.

I agree, the cladding is beautiful, and even better in person! So being that the tower will be topped out in 1Q 2012, how soon after is cladding supposed to be topped out?

I think the cladding is around 26 or 27 floors behind the highest completed floor. So I'm guessing the cladding tops out around 6 months after the building does. Math isn't exactly my forte though.

Updated Google maps...

Guys, just letting you know if you have not already been aware - they just updated Google maps. Looks great. By the looks of it, it seems to have been an update of a few days ago based on the water on one of the 9/11 memorial fountains.

and we appreciate your effort. strange thing though that the one pic I posted from your photostream is accessible in all sizes, the other ones not so much.

first pic: 768 x 1024, ok.
other pics: 320 x 240 --> should be at least 1024 x ...

I think you need to upload those pics in different sizes before posting them.

You should come look at the Silver Towers here in Hell's Kitchen! I live up on the 54th floor and I have a great view of the WTC! I've lived here for 9 months and I've been filming a time lapse of it going up with my camera! I can't wait to look at it and put it on Youtube!

HUH??

He's the one that came up with the site plan that will result in arguably the most spectacular skyline arrangement in the known world.

If you are having a party to celebrate WTC's topping off at your apartment, invite away.
