It's a reminder that this building will serve as a beacon of sorts.

Is this 6 floors of steel in 3 weeks, then? Or is it 4 floors? And we can't forget that one core column that they keep putting up before everything else.

And it's nice to have you back, Carlos!

Have their been any updates to what the base cladding will become now that the prismatic glass has been scrapped? That scaffolding on the base's SE corner has been there for months now, and I cannot understand what it's there for, and why it's only on that corner and not wrapped around the entire base by this point. Any insights would be appreciated, thanks!

I look forward to 1WTC's Spire and eventually 2WTC to add to the pointy-ness of Lower Manhattan's skyline. This image would be cool if Goldman Sachs really had an ESB type-spire.

The flat tops of Lower Manhattan's Modernism movement from the 60's onward took away from what was so appealing about New York for most of the 20th Century.

I miss the pointy-ness...

I'd love to see an extreme close-up of the World Financial Center's circle of lights at the top.. It seems like they are just regular light bulbs in a roll, LOL.

I want to say that it was taken on Grand Street. But I am not sure. I wasn't driving, my friend was but I'm pretty sure it was Grand Street.

Being that it should be around 950+ feet means its basically 2nd tallest in the city right? (aside from the spires on the B.O.A, Chrysler & NYTT)

Jeff900, this isnt a patriotic 9/11 thread.

Anyways, this tower is starting to look quite impressive as it inches closer and closer to TO, and to think it still has what, about 430ft to go, its going to be amazing.
