Hey I noticed today that they have a marketing sign up for the new Condo building proposed for Broad, one block north of College (sorry forget the name of this development), as well as a new presentation center for it being put in that apartment building a couple of blocks further north. Good to see some action, although I do recall they indicated at the home and Garden show that they'd be starting construction in July. Hopefully they can get the ball rolling on this one faster than Cap pointe or Gardens on Rose..

Ha ha - they changed the sign to 2012. Saw it this morning. I think they read this thread, just like Sasktel with their parking lot landscaping on Lorne.

So driving home tonight I happened to have my camera with and went right by many of the sites referred to on this thread today, and more:

Centre Square Place:

Sasktel Parking lot/former Presutti's lots of paving stones but do not see any trees so i am not sure what is going on. Paving stones will look better than mud and weeds, but they gotta have trees!:

Gordon Building:

Credit Foncier and former Burns Hanley Blg:

Sasktel Electrical Energy Centre on 11th. No trees, despite the render that showed many. Also the rectangular blank wall was supposed to have a mural.

Rock Creek Tap and Grill/loft condos on Broad slowly taking shape:

Actually the paving stones are going in between the SGI building and the Cornwall parkade across the street.

Hey Stormer, I've heard that this was supposed to be a Rock Creek as well. But I've heard from, what I thought, would be credible sources that it may not be one. This has been bothering me for awhile.

I was working at the mall yesterday and a woman came into my store with a Harvard Developments logo on her shirt... After finding out she works in the Harvard office, I asked her about tower 4... She said its already in progress.. and she 'couldn't tell me' if it would mirror Tower 3, with a wink.
Who knows if it is simply company speculation or if she has been working on the progress, but she seemed very certain of herself..

Arrrgghhhhh. I wish they would spread these towers out through out the downtown to balance things out. It's gonna look very odd to have 4 towers all in a row.

It's been their plan all along to have four towers represent a huge "M" to stand for McCallum Hill & show their dominance over Regina. Everytime someone sees a picture of downtown Regina, they're going to know that McCallum owns this town. People in the 90's were like "A huge V downtown? What is that supposed to represent?" The V was just stage 1.

interesting that they are using a "For Sale By Owner" approach.

Wow, that's amazing. I have also heard that the "twin" to the fcc tower that also houses the CIBC downtown, is planned to be built by 2015. Rumor has it that Harvard would like the crew working on Tower3 to jsut move down the street. Basically the two towers would be connected at the base I think.

The skyline will be changing...that's for sure!

With regards to the GoR, I find it very surprising they are using comfree, since they had previously been using a Realtor to help sell the units...hmmm!

Geeeeezzz.... I can't even tell if people are kidding any more. Just in case this isn't a bad joke, McCallum-Hill no longer exists under that name, so a giant "M" would make no sense.

They do have agents working for them, though. At least one of their sales people is (or at least was) a licensed Realtor before she began working with them.

The first crane at the RCMP Academy has been taken down (one remaining). Things are really moving out there as well!
