Wow,it's going to be one huge airport. There was however know mention of the hotel to be built, so is the hotel canceled or will they be building a different style of hotel. Personally i would love to see a much larger hotel . A 4 star hotell would be great for the city of Edmonton.

Oh that's right. I totally forgot about that.
From what I remember they wanted to expand the runways and what not. I can't recall any building/terminal expansion but I did see that document awhile ago.

The Russian open skies observation aircraft has just arrived at YEG. Its a Tupolev TU-154M. Dont see one of those everyday!

I remember the hangover that travelled with me, and the American scientists that were shooting champagne corks around the plane, plus everyone was smoking.

No for some reason its not showing on any flighttrackers...Military or blocked ident...I am not sure. Its parked now over by the Shell Aerocentre.
