It will be about 2/3 in a couple of floors, once we reach floor 72. Only 8 to go, so 4 elevations.

Lets do the math on how much of the building is done comapred to how much its still got to go. Now this is from street level to Roof level.

Base height is 186.7 feet tall, Each office floor is 13 feet 4 inches tall, they are currently at the 44 th office floor, so lets do 13 feet 4 inches x 44 = 588 feet 8 inches tall. so now lets add the base plus the currnt progess of were they are at now. so 186.7+588= 774.7 plus the 8 inches so that would be roughly 775 feet tall plus the 6 foot splice. so the current final height is 781 feet tall

Now to the Roof height is 1368 feet tall.

Now to calculate the percentage done so far to the roof height,

781 divided by 1368 x 100= 57.09 percent. so we are at 57.09 percent to roof height which that would make 43 percent left to the top of the roof height.

well i hope i cleared and answered the question

I hadn't checked on this one in awhile because I was looking at all of the newer construction. It seems as if the thread's been abandoned for awhile, and it's gotten so mathematical. Does anyone else ever just stop to look at it for a little while and listen to all of the records in its history of development and think how incredibly, incredibly beautiful this first one is. I thought that from the very beginning, even when the whole process was so confused. You'll think of what it came out of, the destruction in the beginning of it and the whole back layer of grief that made a setting in the first place, you'll think of how sad for everyone that all of it took place, but you'll look at the building and the construction from the very beginning and then you just see such incredible, enormous beauty, from the architechts who made something out of it. Sometimes I wonder if we focus on the mechanics of it because we don't know how to manage our feelings on what that beauty might mean, or hope that this tower will be something for us. But it's always been beautiful, from the moments of the first base line. I like all of the towers that have gone up in the city. This is the one I keep closest in pictures.

Anybody watch the new Fringe? The last five minutes are set sometime after WTC1 is finished, and shows an amazing CG render of the building as it will look in real life. The next episode will take place entirely in future New York, with hopefully as much accuracy as the World Trade Center scene had.

This is my favorite TV show. The machine transported Peter to New York City in 2026. This building was completed in the show. Next Friday is the season finale. The old World Trade Centers also frequently make an appearance on the show.

A link to it below. Look near the end of the show.

^ WOW.

To me, if one took away the top half of that last picture, it could easily mistaken as somewhere in West Los Angeles.

Nice pic, Graffhead!

In the last pic, is WTC the one with what looks like two flag poles on the roof? Where's the photo taken from?
