Hey in that last shot, the building between Greenwich St. and W. Broadway (next to 7 WTC) looks like it is under construction or something. I'm sure somebody's mentioned it, but does anybody know what's going on? Thanks

That's the new Fiterman Hall. The original Fiterman Hall was badly damaged on 9/11 when the original 7WTC fell onto it. It took them forever to get around to dismantling it but they finally dismantled it about six months or so ago, which is around the time construction on the new Fitterman Hall began (amazing how far they've come so soon).

BTW, in the chart a few posts back, One Liberty Plaza is taller than 743 feet, right??? I always thought it was about 100-200 feet taller than 7WTC, just from looking at it in photos and in person, but wikipedia and some other websites have it as 743 feet.

^^Its simply on higher ground, but it is in the same height range as GS, 7WTC, and 3 WFC, approximately 750 ft or so.

Don't worry guys, I'm here. Ghost town much?

Anyways, another shot from the 7 WTC, capturing workers installing a new row of glass:

I wouldn't be standing that close to the ledge- just saying.

Can't wait for it to be finished!

First post btw! The tower and site look better and better each week. I also noticed that ABC wasn't using arial stock footage of Manhattan during the Knicks/Celtics game yesterday. 1 WTC already looks like a beast of a building next to tower 7. Keep up the good work!

It's not mine, but it's my friend's. He tagged me in this photo on facebook, so I downloaded it and re-posted it here, since I realized it wouldn't do any good on facebook.

BTW he works at the 7 WTC, and his office faces the southern side of the 7WTC, giving him spectacular views of the 1 WTC.

I was asking because I remember I saw this video on youtube that said employees at WTC 7 use this card to get the elivator to their offices.

I am looking at that pic and I see one of the construction workers sitting right at the edge practically right on top of the edge of the glass. Looking west its the third construction worker.

With the safety cocoon and other safety features ...tell me those guys are tethered nowadays! Can your friend see? I gotta believe that long-gone are the days of Charles C. Ebbets 'Lunchtime atop a Skyscraper'

Thats why i give them so much credit. I mean not only the construction workers of Tower 1, but all tall buildings through the world.

By the way, Tower 1 is looking Giantesk. I can wait to see how tall it will be when my birthday rolls around on December 27.
