The podium looks interesting like something in Rotterdam. As for the tower, it looks like it ATE the Beasley project, and has cookie crumbs all over its facade... no thanks

New cooperative appartment building for the elderly. It is not the most impressive proposal but I do like the concept behind it.

Sorry for the bad quality but there are some big developments coming through the pipe right now n Kelowna

Here is the 2 tower residential project the "Monaco." This one will be right downtown and will definitely add to the skyline. Knowing this forum i am sure it will have its share of nay sayers but I personally like them and think the style fits the semi-resort / lake / dry feel of Kelowna.

Then, also downtown is an 8 story office tower, this project is apparently breaking ground this summer.

And last but not least, breaking ground this spring is an 18 floor office tower, known as Landmark 6, sadly I can not find a render for it but all of the contracts are signed apparently, down to who is installing the elevators. I think site prep may already be underway.

So it looks like things may be heating up again in Kelowna!

Word from UT is that demolition has begun at the site of Nicholas Residences in Toronto. Although it's listed as 100 metres in the database, 6 stories were recently added, which would put it up to ~120 metres.

More or less a clone of Boutique.

I heard that the AMT and Cadillac Fairview want to create a new bus/subway/train hub there, and maybe add to that the construction of condos, retailers, offices and hotels to the area, but I don't know anything more precise.

Do you know more??

This is part of the proposal for that ugly yellow building on top of the parking garage, this is across the road. It will be a mix of condos and some retails, 84 condos I thinks. There's been several proposals for this before, here's a similar one from a few years ago but I think looks better.

I don't think I've ever seen a proposal for Kelowna on this site yet. The towers don't look that bad. With the right materials, it could work.

It's inspiration was MLS, as they are both Cadillac JVs, upon buildout the Montreal project will actually be larger though.

yes I know tons more, but unfortunately I can't speak on it as of yet. If everything goes according to plan it will be quite the development though.
