You raise a very good point. I'm not sure how much the senior levels coughed up for the JLC, but I'm sure they can afford to pitch in at least a portion of the freeway's cost.
As gas prices continue to increase, it makes you wonder how many people will be driving in 20-30 years when the first interchanges are slated to be constructed. I think there will be a gap between peak oil and when alternative fuels/power becomes affordable for cars, but I am getting off topic.

Everyone's entitled input on these decisions in our democracy, even sleazy corporate businessmen. However he did raise a good point stating that if the Admiral Drive intersection is closed off it would impact the residents in the area from accessing the VMP.
He stated that Timmy's is one of the busiest in the city. Still, the report states that this intersection will remain until 2058... that's a lot of advance warning to move/modify your store.
