Another example that comes to mind is the Georgian Mall in my home town of Barrie that has seen a huge expansion in recent years, with a shift to higher end retailers. This type of expansion, though I'm not sure if it's common in Canada, constitutes a whole new shopping experience and far outstrips anything that has been done to our malls here in Regina.

Centre Square Place had an ad in the LP today and has a website up. although there is nothing on it yet, other than this new render. I did not know that it has a roof top garden.

Last Verified 2/14/ from harvard developments , on there website this tower is still listed at two hundred thousand sf i thought it was reduced

So they appear to still have 1.5 floors unleased.

I drove by the new Leon's under construction off the North Ring Road today. I had thought there were two buildings, but today I could see they are actually joined. It is quite a large building with a tall portion and a low portion, similar to this Leon's in Thunder Bay. They were actually working on the roof today in -40 windchill! Young Regina

I thought your Leader Post article last Monday was well spoken and thought provoking.
I think this stadium could also include a movie theatre, top notch resteraunts, ex: maybe another KEG, fast food to serve, the movie complex, Rider games, bar district, etc. But my two other requests may be controversial. 1: A natural extension of the Cornwall centre(indoor) extension of Scarth St.(outdoor) but not exclusive to pedestrian traffic only. with a small underpass under the rail tracks that is car and small truck friendly. 2: A theme hotel with waterpark, such as Kalahari (loved the one located in Wis Dells, Wisconsin).
And last but not least a new railway underpass at Smith Street with extension from Saskatchewan Drive to Dewdney Avenue. This would facilitate vehicle traffic to and from the stadium for major events as well as improve peak time traffic flows. Transit, charter buses and taxis could also utilize this new North/South roadway to their advantage.
Well I guess that's my two cents worth!

New Ehrlo affordable housing project for young people trying to get reintegrated. This is on Osler near RGH. The sign says it costs $6.1 million.
