Agreed. I didn't mean it as a jab. Calgary is my hometown after all. Just suggesting that we should aspire to Montreal-style density.

60 years later and Toronto is still 'booming' , well maybe not really. But in terms of construction and population growth we are booming even if our economy is going down the tank.

^^ some very good angles. i like to see the west side of downtown, it stretches much farther than people think...

Last time I was in Calgary was for Grey Cup 2009, when the construction was maybe 15 stories high

All that construction is bringing a tear to my eye.

Looks like Winter is in its last throws. Good time to hit the street now and do some skyscraper photography after a month and a half in exile. Also gotta do some slumming on Bloor West, and chat up some Dominican Hookers at Lancaster. Ha, Spring is here! And it doesnt get better than this.
