Personally I wish the ugly Toronto Police Headquarters on Bay would disappear. Talk about a waste of space. Could be a great spot for a Supertall !!

Canada Tower now, and about 110 meters shorter.

Will not be visible from that vantage point at 190 meters. That's for sure.

Renders 6 years out-of-date for Toronto is like 50 years for almost any other city. (Not including cities in China of course.)

Just thought it would be interesting, to see what skyscraper geeks were up to back in the days when the boom was just taking off.

The renderings on Cityplace, TIFF, Ritz and Trump are not too bad.

oh my god... those renders look older than me! (the designs of the old proposals). no more sapphire tower, no more supertall-trump, etc...

some of the proposals i have no idea, the only ones i can make out are sapphire, trump, ritz, what looks like an early shangri-la, and a very awkward bay adelaide centre.

I think eliott took some liberty with his renderings. Alot of the towers placed in the rendering, may be placeholders for other projects. Still gotta give the guy credit for putting this together. Wonder if 3D or Maldive can pull him outta retirement.
