Well, here's a rough first start at that Yorkville skyline I promised...

I got really tired of drawing buildings and I got lazy. I probably only added half of what everyone has been talking about but here goes, from left to right I added:

609 Sherbourne (rough guess), X2 (X is hidden behind 403 Bloor), 403 Bloor Street East, Couture, Chaz, As a place holder I put in CASA II for 42 Charles Street East at approx 220 Meters, U Condos II and I, One Bloor Street East, Cumberland Terrace I and II, Four Seasons Hotel & Residences, Milan Residences, The Florian (look close there is only a sliver of it.) and Yorkville Residences.

Sheeesh!!! That's a lot of buildings! ENJOY

That's a great rendering! And featured on blogTO today: http://www.blogto.com/city/2011/01/a_glimpse_at_the_yonge_and_bloor_skyline_in_2015/

Just goes to show that there are journalists from the newspapers following these forums....

Hey! What the...???

Can they do that without asking? Thanks for the heads-up Niwell.

That picture actually only works if you see the before shot by androiduk. Otherwise it's just some random bunch of cartoon drawn buildings.

And that wasn't even a good render. I only spent a day on it and it's kind of rough. The guys at Urban Toronto also used it as their "Photo of the Day" and placed it in their banner for the whole weekend.

I really have to do better work if it's going to get picked up and used on other sites.

When Toronto Life magazine very obviously ripped off a bunch of drawings from Skyscraper Page without crediting them, I learned not to expect much integrity from local media.

Well blogTO is a blog, so they really can do whatever they want. Toronto Life stealing images was a bit ridiculous though.

I'd say enjoy the publicity! And they did give credit to Traynor at least.

Maldive must be pulling his hair out, knowing how much he hates you. Maldive made the national paper a few times with his renders. Me and Maldive use to hang 'back in the day' well we went out to dinner twice. I even brought a blonde albanian bombshell with me at least once. She was into skyscrapers. lol

Don't be silly Cal. Anyone with as much sanctimony, ego and self-importance as he, would never find my amateur work a threat.

Maldive is a big guy, basically 2 of me put together. Would not want to get on his bad side. Hope you've been doing your bench presses and pull ups. And try not to meet him in an alley.

My few run-ins with him on the scraper forums confirm your appraisal of him as a first-class jagoff. But he's not alone in that regard.

Crystal Blu looks like infill! lol
I PRAY we'll get some more pre war style buildings like 1 St Thomas. Yorkville Residences isn't my idea of luxury, it's too simple and somthing I'd expect UofT to design.

Ha on the far left side of the picture the roof of the Rogers building looks like an old cathedral dome..
