I don't know if penmanship is important to graffitiers. Yep, that's the hoarding I meant. I think it means to read:

Tree <cut> out here. 107 year old tulip tree next.
<signed> Your green mayor.

^ I know it's going to be operated by Cactus Club, but will it also be called/branded as a "Cactus Club"?

Why not get developers to send money to the parks board for things like public toilets as part of density bonuses?

If the only alternative is to close them - make them pay toilets or get Lamar (whoever does the street furniture) to set up some self-cleaning replacements in exchange for advertising.

Paul Stirfry Chopstick House opened today (next to Commune at Seymour/Nelson, in Level). The theme is 'South East Asian Street Food', and menu items are $8-12. Hopefully it's good, because Yaletown could use some places like that.

The website on their take-out menus is http://www.paulstirfry.com/ but it doesn't work yet.

(Is there a general thread for this type of thing?)

That's gross. The City needs more public washrooms, not less! Next time I see human excrement in a park I'll be reminded how the cost of one bike lane (Hornby) would have covered these washroom cost shortfalls for ten years!

I heard a full intersection is $3M, so it could easily be $200k for a modification.
