OSCAR FECH HAS 65 VOTES.

That means 65 people in this city believe there is gold hidden under city hall and that someone is trying to assassinate Oscar. That is awesome.
So, my wife says to me "Oscar Fech was at my Bar call."

I say: "How in Gods name did you know it was Oscar Fech:"

She says: "He was the only guy I didn't know in the room. I had no clue who he was until this election"

Nenshi was indeed the Black Swan in this election. He was never predicted to win, lobbyists looked to other candidates. He came from nowhere, and killed it!

Maybe, but Taylor is pretty uninspiring... GlobalTV predicting Nenshi will win even when McIver's home ground in the south is counted.

Ward 13 and 14 McIver and Nenshi are essentially tied.

I'm happy to stand corrected from my earlier comments.

11778 lead for Nenshi now. Super happy about that!

So much for a tight race. I kind of thought it'd turn out this way - Nenshi had a huge amount of momentum, and the other 2 had very little.

Our class at UofC offered to buy Dave a drink after our course with him ended (several years ago...). Too bad he turned it down, he was a fun prof.
