Just that votes at 127 of the stations have been fully counted and reported. The population distribution between the stations isn't even, size of each poll area is based on population as well as on the actual size of the area.

Stations are voting stations. When you go to vote you vote at a "voting station." Sometimes people use the word polls in this context as well. There are 241 in the city. The ones that had huge lineups will be last to be counted. Smaller ones come in first, because they don't take much time to count.

Can someone explain the poll stations to me. If I look at my ward, ward 7, there are more polling stations for alderman than mayoral. Why is that? were there more polling stations for alderman? I thought they were the same location.
Well, the earliest polls to report were the smallest (hospitals and assisted living) and it is generally safe to say that the bigger the poll, the longer it takes to count. So it is pretty safe to say that well under half the votes are in for mayor.
Also want to mention that the guy who interviewed me on shaw, Brenden Parker, was really great. He said he usually does sports, but I think he did an awesome job at the political interview and he made the interview go really well. Kudos to him.
