Hey Cal, stop reposting that crap render everywhere! It's bad enough I saw it in the Future Skyline thread, at least it belongs in that thread, but why post it again here?

I asked this in a photo thread but I've heard from some people that the Tower was built so that they can remove the top and extend the height if need be. No idea if it's true though.

The tower was not constructed with this in mind, however, an engineering study in the 80s concluded that the tower could indeed bear the additional load to include greater height and a second smaller pod above. The idea never progressed beyond the study and I doubt it ever will.

Halifax must have the best skyline in Canada for a metro<500K. Hell, it beats some of the cities above that size, in my books.
