Looks like they're taking down the smaller crane by the east tower this morning.

Indeed. The crane is down around the 20th floor now. Looks like they're preparing to take it down this weekend.

great pics!!

I have been seeing them install the LED lights into the grooves of the concrete in the past few weeks so it seems that hasnt been canceled. Interesting to see how it will look when finished.

It looks better in real life than it did in the renderings. I've always liked it but now this might be one of my favorite residential buildings in the city.

The podium is super. The rest is pretty nice, too. Too bad it's not taller

In this picture it looks like the trolley wire has just sliced off half the building to expose the elevator core. Nice set SFU Vancouver.

Thanks for the comments.

This has become one of my favourite in the city too. I used to live around the corner and still feel some sense of ownership for the area, so to have this go up and look so good makes me feel pride.

I still really like this building but think the glazing on the middle part of the podium is awful. Besides that this building would be amazing and close to the level of Jameson House (at least for me). It's still good, just not as good as it could be (although I suppose that could describe many new buildings in the city).

I would agree with that.
Remember how we were wondering about the variation in frit on the west windows?
Looks like some of them are completely fritted - unless those are blinds.

It's interesting that both WPP and Jameson have sleek sides and also large sections of visible concrete.
