Dreadful. I don't really care for naming rights on privately owned facilities, but Rogers? From the Garage to the Phone Booth.

As much as I hate Telus for their crappy services, I would have preferred them over Rogers. It's local, it's headquartered here.

Rogers already has naming rights over SkyDome, and their red branding would clash against those of the Canucks. On the other hand, the Telus green works with the Canucks and naming it "Telus Centre" has a pretty good ring to it like "GM Place".


One can only wonder what BC Place will be called in a year's time.
