when I few in this week I noticed glazing going up on the south east side.

The tower needs allot of upgrades as well as another elevator shaft.

Based on the amount of asbestos that was in the ATB I would not be suprised.

so this is the first time ive seen the airport since november & i gotta say, it looks pretty different
i didnt feel like i was in edm driving towards the terminal - its gonna be a proper sized airport when completed

Has anyone heard anything about bus service from Century Park to YEG? Anyone with some inside info on this? The last i heard / read was that service was supposed to start in early July.

This motion was passed during the April 28 City Council meeting (item 5.5 on http://sirepub.edmonton.ca/sirepub/mtgviewer.aspx?meetid=391&doctype=MINUTES)

^Wasn't Sohi a bus driver? Looks like he prefers his cabbie friends more than his bus driver friends.

I will be very curious what comes out on June 23. We cannot even think YEG to be a world class airport if it doesn't have PUBLIC transportation... ...and a great viewing terrace.

Political alignment alone b/c it's silly season with the election in the fall. He's just covering his electoral base, and minimizing pissing off people in the process.
