I guess I'd take a six story building over a parking lot. It's part of the process. As much as we'd like an instant skyline, density is a slow process. I just remind myself that the more land that gets snatched up and built upon, the less land there is available, and so the higher the next developer must go.

Are you referring to the same building as Cololi, UrbanBoy? Also,how do you know it's Qwest? I'm wondering if that's still the case seeing they were recently bought out by a Louisiana-based company.

I hope you're right UB. First I thought the 6-story would go on the corner of 400 S. and State. But if it's going midblock with room to spare then maybe W.P still have plans for their towers to go there?

I agree whole-heartedly....... IF we weren't talking about a property that was supposed become home to twin towers, possibly new tallests....
