Utah State Capitol

I was at the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City this weekend and grabbed some shots I thought I would share. Hope you enjoy

Cool. Aside from its size and the rotunda. it looks alot like Kentucky's. It looks like Utah's has more cool paintings though. Its position high above the city makes it appear so dominant!

One of the best 'sitings' of any of the state capitol buildings I've been to. Totally dominates. Gorgeous building as well.

Great pics Steve! This is one of the most stunning of the State Capitols. I'm glad the restoration and siesmic upgrading is complete. You don't realize how much detailing work there is on the exterior until you get up close. These are some excellent pics of the intricate craftsmanship. I think the choice of stone has proven itself well over the decades.

IMO it looks exponentially better than the US Capitol.
