Also, the Maynards Block demolition has begun, and has possibly ended. The west building is a pile of rubble, and If I recall correctly the east building is being retained/refurbished with condos/townhomes built on the roof? I would imagine excavation would begin shortly.

They were pre-selling during construction, but the splashy ads stopped when the Great Recession started. The sales office & show space remained open, but there wasn't a lot of money spent pushing sales.
With the buildings now available for move-in by the original purchasers starting this month, rennie is also dialling up the sales campaign again. He's smart enough to know he can't flood the market with over 800 units all at once, so they will be 'trickled' out at a few hundred per year over the next five years (or quicker if he market rebounds and demand is there).
AWVAN... what plan did ya go with? I was quite partial to the Penthouse Flats, but didn't quite like the timing.
C plan, 697 sq. ft. I wanted a view. There are a lot of good plans in the building though, including the townhomes/flats (which I'm usually not a fan of).
I actually think the way the podiums on all of the buildings in SEFC are being built is fantastic, the first back-to-back ones will be Foundry and PFC1, interested to see how the laneway works. I think the city has knocked it out of the park with the planning in this area, I look forward to seeing the whole neighbourhood build out. It's going to look a lot different two years from now with Maynards, PFC1 and James complete (or close to it), and hopefully WCFC, Opsal, Q1 and Onni's bridge thing well on their way.

I didn't get that one exactly, but I did get a very similar email from Vancouver 2010 asking me to show up as a 'blue jacket volunteer'.
