Then the bike lanes should be widened, or the sidewalks widened so perhaps restaurants downtown could have an appropriate patio. As well I still stand by my pedestrian road from the bess to midtown!
I'm going to try to post an image of a really nice covered parkade I found at 330 18 Ave SW in Calgary. What a great way to dress up an otherwise unsightly structure. Imagine what something like this would do for the KG parkade!

haha, you're always out of the loop dsim249. But no, my comment wasn't directed at you.

It was directed towards EarlyByrd. This rumor will play out just like it did in 2008...*crickets chirping*

A little fabric doesn't quite do it for me. Check out the Kansas City Public Library parking structure:

Agreed. The fabric looks like temporary construction hoarding you sometimes see. I have a picture of the hoarding of the Paris police station that I'll post when I get home.

Now the Library parkade, that's some creativity at work.

Wow beautiful! Speaking of nice parkades the U of S stadium parkade isn't bad either. It actually looks like it could be a real building.

Regina's new downtown plan now forbids any visible parking visible from the street. The Gardens on Rose condo proposed several levels of parking in their original concept but were sent back by the City. The new design now fully hides the parking on the lower levels.

The downtown plan was developed largely by the Office for Urbanism who were recently in Saskatoon doing a presentation as discussed in this thread.

Capital Pointe in Regina also will have several levels of completely hidden parking:

Did anyone see the great new website Regina transit has? It lets you see in real time where the buses are! Very cool, I'd love to see something like this in Saskatoon.
