Nice pictures of Edmonton. I like how the skyline even though it does'nt have great height, it's diverse style and how spread out it is. I like that, and you don't see all the twins, triplets and all that nonsense!

Reason: add word
Great shots....i love how the Red Atco building stands out. Nothing great architecturally but it just adds colour, like CNA in Chicago - just different.

I've had that same thought myself, the Atco building plays a similar role in the Edmonton skyline as the CNA does in Chicago.
The best thing would be that if in a couple of years you dont recognize Toronto. I hope it gets monster density and height. Taller towers closer together and a general growth outward of the skyline. That would be sweet.....
well it seems everytime i actually LOOK at some dt TO pic, it looks different and new - if i lived there i doubt this would be the case but from an outsiders perspective, it always looks new to me (to an extent)
It does amaze me how much Toronto has changed since the first time I visited there in '98, to say nothing of how much it has changed since I last visited in...'05 I think it was? Yikes, it's been too long.

Change???.. You want Change?!!!??
This was my Toronto when I was 9 years-old. I have watched everything else being built since CCW. Now that's change! LOL
The Port Nelson slide that I bought, along with a couple of others, is dated 1925 so the Montreal one posted by 1ajs (which appeared to be from the same set) is probably also from around then. (Sorry, I hadn't seen this discussion before.) They are very skilfully coloured.
