They'll have to add extenders on the boom for the mobile cranes so it can lay more steel on the top. It'll keep getting extended until it's 1776' in height. I mean, how else will they raise that spire that goes on top?

Why are the first two office floors shaped as square when viewed from above? Is it not suppose to be another octagon in reverse going up?

So that explains the "weird-looking" corner columns..

Egad. It's becomming to tall for the earthcam!

Floors 23 and 24 will barely fit on the earthcam, about to floors 42 or 43 on the RBGZ cam, and then most of us will have to go to the site ourselves to see. Unless of course, they move the cameras upward.

I wouldn't be surprised if the RGBZ guy rearranged his cam, since Earthcam has the memorial completely covered.

In other words, the skin. Just like the bones, which is the work that is currently in progress.

Looks like the NE corner is in too! Just out of the webcam, but the east facing horizontal corner beam is in for floor 23 and presumably not connected to air.....

Big Red's current duty is just about done.

Pics by Lofter1 over at WNY.

The 16000 did it with about 10 feet to spare. The first of the third section of a corner node is in.

Better sense of scale here.
