Not that I am aware of, it's of a lesser grade than that being used in Tower One. Though they could use it with modifications to the chemistry.

Yea, the first plant had to cool but 2 towers and some low rise buildings. It would take a huge central plant to cool 4 towers and the Hub and the Memorial. (The new plant cools the Memorial and the Hub.)

I'm not sure how much steel was actually recovered and recycled from Ground Zero, but about 7 tons of steel from the Twins was melted down and used for the construction of the USS New York's bow.

This goes without saying but I'll go ahead and be Captain Obvious. -This will be the single most photographed construction of all time.- Any contenders that I am missing? Burj Dubai with all of its phallic glory does not have the amount of lenses and eyeballs this one has fixated on it.

Imagine how that last shot would have looked like if all 4 towers were under construction.

Does anyone know how far behind the Concrete Core is? I know they are working on the Office floors currently - just curious to know where the Core is at the moment? Thanks!

Work on the transit hub is going on, you can see the excavation continuing in that last shot, and the Deutche Bank is coming down faster now. The memorial voids are pretty much there.

And somewhere, at the end of this view, the Freedom Tower rises...

with 2 office floors at a time going up. How do they put the steel floor on the lower floor if they put it on the above floor 1st?

The decking is corrugated sheet metal and is placed by hand.

So will they finish up the curving of the road before OWTC and the memorial is built?
