Hmm. They should have just agreed to install video screens on the side of the buildings, showing images of whats on the other side, making it seem see-through to get clearance.
It will be nice to see if all of those buildings are actually built. It will certainly liven up that end of the city. Maybe businesses will be open 7 days a week, past 5PM!
Nice, thnaks!
The Colours towers closer to BC Place had previously been rendered much shorter due to a view cone (ditto for the towers on the BC Place lands themselves) - I wonder whether they have approval for the height shown?
thanks for the photos. looks great.
if im still living in this condo by 2020 (espana), i wont be able to see false creek anymore due to all those buildings lol. ah well....
and that roof on BC Place looks so nice..................................................
I particularly love this part of the project, the vast Creekside Park expansion didn't make much sense in the first place but having a wall of towers on the street will certainly liven up the park.
If only the towers looked like crystals lit up at night.... :p Concord's vision of what might happen for Southeast False Creek right next to the Cambie Street Bridge is interesting.
What's going on with the Plaza of Nations site? Will a new casino be built?
Will there be another hospital in this area, in addition to St. Paul's? ("Creekside General") as an example? I think the increased population may call for one.

It's located at the False Creek Flats north of Pacific Central...there's a topic for that hospital in this forum, scroll through the pages for more info. It's a pretty impressive project.
Thanks for the photos. Keep in mind that the Concord folks are pointing out to everyone that drops into the sales centre that all these model/renders (except for Panorama aka Colours) are purely conceptual - Concord's idea of how things could turn out, subject to all the planning, negotiations with other landowners, city approvals etc. that are required.
Awesome! I love how they have lots of tower near and between the viaducts. I also love the pedestrian extension of Georgia down the stairs and out onto a promenade.
Thanks!
That curved awning on the liquor store sortof works with the Palisades across the street (but not with the older buildings to the east or north.)
