It is possible, that construction slowed down, because its the time between christmas and new year.

I kind of doubt their using autocad. Im thinking their using Tekla Structures (Xsteel) or maybe SDS 2. These are 3D modeling programs that go beyond the capabilities of autocad.

It would be neat to see the completed 3D computer model.

MRP LLC and I believe they are using several programs X-Steel, SDS 2 . And no, AutoCAD is not the best program for steel detailing.

PS: SOM made the Architectural, Structural etc. drawings, the contractor makes the detail drawings.

PPS: I use X-Steel.

I would just like to add that Tower One is bought and paid for, there well be no construction delays due to funding. However, weather well slow progress from time to time, (rain, snow, wind.) And yes, the Holidays have, and well, slow progress slightly.

Anyone wishing to speed progress can cough up the cash to pay the workers double time to work Friday. Let's see, a local 40 journeyman Ironworker gets $41 an hour, plus benefits, 8 hours pay for 7 1/2 hours worked.

They earn every penny.

It looks to me like this is the final core jump and floor creation to finish the base the the structor aka the building. Then let the rise begin to sky scrapper status.
