Don't know what it is, but I love walking around d/t Montreal, and you can for hours. There are some interesting modern office buildings, plus some outstanding historical architecture too - love Old Montreal

In that pic we can cleary see how downtown Montreal is squeezed between the river and the mountain. In the bottom left corner lies the largest cemetary in Canada, and next to it Lac des Castors, which by the way is natural. For those interested in history, some say the Iroquoian village of Hochelaga was located around that lake in 1535 when Jacques Cartier made the first ascent of Mount Royal. (the other possible locations would be around Old Montreal, along the Rivière des Prairies or on the McGill campus)

Regarding Toronto's skyline:

Last week in Beijing, I saw an ad in the subway for (I guess) a real-estate development.
The background of the rendering was Toronto's skyline (viewed from that park in the Don valley), minus the top of the CN Tower.

Conclusion: TO's skyline (minus the Tower) isn't that recognizable, but it's big enough to the Chinese, which should be quite a compliment...
