I found it to be quite an interesting building; the years of drunkeness, graffiti, disrespect and neglect have ultimately ended it's life.
The professional building actually turned out, in my mind, extremely well. The way the building lights up at night mixed with it's street level (drug store & second cup), it's panned out quite well. Although the facade of the existing building was of particular interest, this definitely breaths a breath of fresh air on that stretch of Jasper. Welcome to 1996 Edmonton!
Well, aside from the fact rexall ruined the streetscape with pictures of geriatric men smiling and racially sensitive snapshots of children on tire swings.. sigh
