Same old, same old. I guess I should learn not to expect great things from the Flames.

You must've missed the Stamps try to play football if you were still in a good mood going into the Flames game.

Should have known it was too good to be true. The Stamps losing so poorly earlier was a bad omen... Just have to bounce back against CBJ.

So much for the new "defense-oriented" system.

(Tied for) biggest comeback in NHL history. Something to be proud of, boys, you're in the record books.

Glad to see Flames PPV replaced Millions with a rather hot lady. I think I enjoyed the intermissions more than the game.

Anybody else picked up Theo's book yet?

I bought it this afternoon and can't put it down, really eye opening and makes me respect the guy even more. Also airs some dirty laundry about the Flames organization during the 90s which I thought was interesting. A must-read if you were a Flames fan at that time.

The idea of buying this book IMO is like buying those real estate books or packages advertised on infomercials

I posted this in the main NHL thread, but figured I'd throw it in here too.

it's actually safe for work.

An Oilers commercial which is a take off on the Mac vs. PC adds on TV. The Mac dud is wearing Oilers colors and the PC loser dude is geard up in Flames attire.

Streaming video of any kind isn't safe in a lot of workplaces these days, and I suspected it was something like that.

No, I didn't write the policy.
