Lamar Pedestrian Bridge. I guess this is one of the Capitol View Corridors.
Lamar Pedestrian Bridge - Gables, Spring & Monarch
While I was on the pedestrian Bridge, a group of 10 wanted me to take their photos. I took several with the sunset behind them, then made them go on the other side to get the skyline behind them.

I asked where they were visiting from and they were all from Hong Kong. I asked if they were visiting any other cities while they were in the U.S. and they said no - just Austin. They said the only other U.S. City they'd been in was New York but only at the airport. That's where they changed planes. Later, I saw them on the trail and they were all waving and smiling. I love this city.

From there, I wandered over to Butler Park
Skyline from near the observation hill.
Amli 2, The W Hotel, and Frost Tower.

Last stop was the garage for Palmer Events Center & the Long Center.

So THAT's what building I was seeing off in the distance! Thanks!
I wonder why the blue neon lights at One Congress Plaza were dark tonight?
