Exactly, I had your image of Centennial in mind as well when I made that statement. It's encouraging to see. It would be nice to see some towers such as Bow Valley Square, 5th Avenue Place and other ubiquitous downtown renovated and retrofitted in the future with more active at grade uses.

Yeah there's so many towers around that have terrible street interaction. The Dome and Home towers were terrible, especially for ceing on Stephen ave, but they've improved aliite bit with a few store entrances..... Sportsmart and HMV. I don't believe those entrances were always there. Hopefully the success of business in these new buildings will put pressure on the older buildings to retrofit some retail frontage.

Thanks lespoir, I truly appreciate it! I try not to mess with the colours of buildings as everyone knows what they look like.

However here's a recent shot of Encana Place, converted into B&W.

Nice angle on the Encana bldg! That particular bldg looks good in B&W.

Here's a few from the other day.

A couple of sunset shots. I'm still trying to get a good pano, but the Photostitch I got with my new Canon sucks for some reason.

Some goodies to share to make a slow Sunday an energetic paced one.

Some window washing dude at Livingston climbing over the parapet in hopes of getting his feet on his little basket strap. Talk about crazy shit, I'm sure he had a safety line somewhere but still a pretty extreme task.

A view from the Bow while rafting some weekends back:

A steady line of rafters from the very front to the very back along the rivers length. Just amazing.

Some lucky guy with 5 girls.

Near the finish line. I started at Bowness park and docked at Prince's Island.

ENJOY!
