It might not be the prettiest building but then again, it's better than what they have there now...

Where are these skinnier towers going to be built? How come they have not been mentioned on the forum as of yet? Oh well, looks better than the current Claridge 1 & 2.

True, although to me the render makes it look like they ran out of construction materials and had to finish the upper stories with something different (shades of Opus!).

Apparently they will be built where the National Bank on Rideau street is... I haven't seen this advertised anywhere, but the people working at Claridge office told me and showed me the plan with pictures

They already bought the property. What I don't understand is, how is that enough space to build two new towers? I know they are narrow and all, but still it doesn't seem like there is enough space... Maybe they will be facing Cumberland??? I am asuming they won't be getting rid of the Dworkin Furs building since it's historical architecture, and they also just renovated it recently... I also don't understand how that fur place makes any money... People buy fur coats there every day?

Thanks for the insight.

I am not sure why they would try and develop two more identical towers beside CP 1 and 2. Why not find another location in Sandy Hill or Byward where there won't be so much crowding? I may go in to the office next month and would not mind asking a bit more about these future projects.

While those are pretty damn awesome, I'd hardly say they make Tekwall look like a joke. Also, House of Paint is pretty cool in its own right. I know the guy who did most of the works on the ceiling at House of Paint.

Sales start this September. To be completed summer 2014. Since they are never on schedule, more like spring 2015

Their 5 year estimate from sales to completion sounds refreshingly honest and very realistic.

Wow, nothing like having the street heavily weighted to the south. The height seems slightly tall.

Just imagine though if you owned the LOEB...oops Metro / LCBO site, they must be thinking cha-ching
