We can do what Google does and open it tomorrow, but in Beta.
Canada Line: Beta. You can have a sign that reads Personal Preview only, not intended for a Production Environment.
It can be free until the bugs are worked out, but because it's free, no complaining if it breaks down and makes you late. No guarantees, it might close down mid day to fix something and you need to find a different way home. And no heels or sandals.
But maybe they should have it open on the 25th to go with the open house. Maybe if you stick around to the end of the event they'll say you can ride it home.
I went past Bridgeport Station last week while they were doing the train testing and they are working quite hard to get the bus loop all done. So it really does seem like they are in a hurry to get it all done ASAP.
If they are still doing testing and if you want to check out the system in action, I recommend driving up to the top of the new parkade at Bridgeport Station (the part that's open). You can see a lot from up there.
