It's a nice view. I'd like to take it again when I have a little time to set up the shot... I was standing around with a bunch of engineers and owners reps so I had to take that photo on the sly in auto mode, and my lens was a bit dirty.

Nice skyline shot 240...dispite being dirty it looks like a clear photo.

Anyone go to the 118 Ave Farmers ' Market ... if so how was it?

sorry if this has been mentioned, but the for sale sign that was at Jasper and 116 st (on that empty lot) isn't there anymore.

While some of the recent reno's to the storefronts haven't been stellar from a materials / architectural perspective, they have improved their 'curb appeal' and attracted better tenants.

When I walked by a couple days ago I saw it was still there but knocked over. Perhaps it's been pilfered for lean-to roof action?

^Looks like the abandoned apartment building south of the BP's on 124 Street is going to be converted into retail with some apartment uses. Interesting.

Looks like we should start seeing some quick progress now that we are on what looks to be 2nd floor of the (epcor) Capital Power Tower.

So, can anyone tell me if that embarrassment of a building in the front (south) of the future EPCOR/Capital Power tower is going to be demolished?

The sad thing is that CN wing is the only thing keeping the South side of the EPCOR tower from being an even larger parking lot

^a larger parking lot facing an ominous blank 6-8 storey EPCOR wall from the looks of it.

^ That question has been asked many times; Qualico offered the landowner a free demolition sometime around when Epcor tower broke ground, but it was turned down for reasons that have not been made public.
