It's a greener blue... but then again your JPEG file has compressed quality. But it's still greener for sure.

I have to say, I think it's kind of sad that the previous brick elevator shaft structure was replaced with the Yaletown station house. While I think the location itself for a Yaletown station is perfect, could the station house be any more boring?

Yea. I wonder what the story was on that. It seemed like they were going to use the brick structure in the early part of construction, then minds changed. I guess the current design is the result of a short period of time in which to come up with one.

Well we're not going to be doing that anymore

(Seriously, this line is going to cut down on the "I need a ride to the airport" down to near zero for our household)

^ it looks like a lot, but what you see in those pics should be complete in 1 or 2 months time.

Take the 424 for 1 stop and walk for 7 minutes.. or just walk from Airport station for 16 minutes.. or maybe you can even try the C90 and ask the driver if he/she can drop you off beside the station

This is another event I can't go.. They happens to pick one of the only 2 days I'm not available in the whole month of May.. and the same applied to the last open house

I hate that the open houses are always on Thursday...why can't they choose the weekend?

I wonder if Templeton will have those stupid "Out" stickers on the wayfinding.

And we get stuck with a bland rectangular box. I sure hope something surprises me with the final end product that I can't currently see right now.

The aqua-colour fare gate zone sign has been erected at King Edward Station....identical to the Lansdowne ones. And the ticketing concourse for King Edward is mightily small.

They might clad the elevator box in brick, or at least something other than paint or exposed concrete. I wouldn't be surprised if they did that actually.

he's saying that it looks like there's still a lot to do before the station will be ready, but the work should be done in one or two months

So next year when the fare gates are being installed at the Expo and M-Line stations, are they also going to install them at the Canada Line stations?

I'm surprised that Intransit B.C. didn't install fair gates during construction because I would expect they would want the max possible revenue from the system immediately.
