one thing to point out is how black the condos in coal harbour are... giving compelling evidence to the rumours that less than 50% of them have people in them the majority of the time.

i have heard as low as 30%.

that Calgary pic.. wow! i didn't even recognize it was Calgary at first.
we should start a "best of" skyline thread.

great find too giallo! i'm still amazed how one building (shangri-la) can change a skyline so much.

I can see in a few years some 40-60 story office and or condo towers being built south of the CP tracks, lots of potential there!! (I'm speaking of the Calgary photo)

Possibly the best shot of Calgary I've ever seen. Calgary is gettin dense fast! It also looks like it's developing in a sort of triangular shape very similar to Vancouver.

The owners of most Coal Harbour condos also have other homes around the world. They can only be in one of them at a time. I own one of those C.H. condos too but mine is rented out. I can tell my tenant to leave on all the lights if you want.

That is a great photo, so I purposely quoted it to repost! The angle of the downtown gives this photo the extra punch not to mention the incredible lighting...
