I like to think you could say this about me as well.

interesting how both Bay Adelaide and RBC are more luminous then the other (older) office buildings. -or is that because they're not occuppied yet?

It's because all the floors are illuminated, unlike the occupied towers.

Taken by Scarfinv, on the top of the Sunlife Financial tower in Waterloo, from different angles.

Uptown Waterloo

The U/C building in the foreground is the Bauer Lofts.

Downtown Kitchener

Looking down King street. Grand River Hospital in the foreground.

Looking at the western edge of downtown. Fairview Park Mall apartment cluster off in the distance. Ugly brey building U/C on the right is 560 Queen Street.

Belmont Village area. Actual mixed-use village seen in middle.

Pics of less descript areas from the same tower.

^Interesting Kitchener shots. Is the Sunlife Financial Tower the tallest in the area?

I thought this one was pretty cool. It's taken from VGH's helipad.

Yeah, it's the tallest in the Region at 80 meters, which I think is a little small for a region of 520,000. It's right on the border of cities of Kitchener and Waterloo though, and the view is quite nice. We have a number of proposed towers nearly matching Sunlife's height as well, but I have a feeling we wont be seeing them for a while thanks to the recession.
