There's also the fact that it's a Pro league. I don't even watch football but I'd get a season pass. At the same time, I'm a huge hockey fan and I've only ever been to 2 Wildcats games in my life. Why? It's the QMJHL. I don't know any players. I never know if/when they are on tv and getting out of the colliseum parking is a b!tch. Living so close to UdeM, I could just walk to the stadium.
My brother-in-law in Saint John is a huge CFL fan and said he'd make the trip and go to every home game. When calculating travel + costs, it's not like every traveller would either have to drive back home or need to stay at a hotel. I'm sure many people in the surrounding areas have either family or friends in Moncton they could stay with.
I'm sure Moncton could handle 8 home games.
