I agree that the overall scale of the proposed building is out of whack. I would be ok with it if things were in the 70 foot range, but 125 is too tall for sugarhouse.

I think 4 stories should be the max for Sugar House.

I think the Sugar House trolley will bring new people to the area who might not normally shop there but come for the novelty of riding the trolley. But most of the people who live in the condos and work in the offices will drive. Maybe 10% of the office workers will ride TRAX and then take the trolley over to Sugar House, but there will be this new increase of 90% of the office workers driving into the area. Traffic is nearly maxed out at that intersection now.

I want these new towers! LOL. Nice work urbanboy. Those two twin towers at the end remind me of the WTC Towers in NYC. But alot shorter in this case.

Urbanboy. I love your skyline. Are the twin towers on state and 350 south? I was just curious because when they built the boston and newhouse buildings there were plans to build anothe pair of towers on state.

You should do just one of what we KNOW will be built, not what we hope will be built.

It's nice and all, but still not reflective of what the skyline will look line in a few years.

The two towers are speculation. If I remember correctly, Wasatch Partners owns the property on the North East corner of State Street and 400 South. They have talked about building a mixed-use development, and said the lot was large enough to contain "two major towers" and possibly a new tallest (I just used my imagination) The glass tower is also speculation, and I also changed it's location from Main Street to State Street (I think this location is better for many reasons) and made it a little taller (because of a possible increase in demand after City Creek Center is completed). The other tower at State and 100 South is a proposed City Creek Center phase II of which most of us have seen some renderings. The tower on State and 200 South is also speculation, but has unofficially been proposed by the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce, as a new World Trade Center Utah. The rest are pretty much a done deal.

Urbanboy, I LOVE your skyline pictures! Esp. the tall twin towers. You should do that with my proposed 1000-footer at different angles

(page 298). I also have some pretty good skyline pics that I think you'll like
