Since none of the shadows fall on important public spaces, there's no problem.

I love the balconies.
I agree about the balconies. What I like is the vertical posts. It gives them more of a retro fire escape feel, a more unified structure than just a bunch of slabs sticking out the side.

Oh, and Batman even makes Grand Plaza look cool. That's tallent.

I don't think that's finished. I drove LSD yesterday and it appeared to be decent-looking glass from that perspective (not architecturally pleasing, of course...). They may have done some work wince the 15th, because it looked nothing like that pic.

Is the north tower of 600 N LSD occupied yet? If so, then the building should probably be listed as completed, because there was no visible contruction left to do last time I walked by.

^I took a photo of it Saturday night and only a few windows were lit. My guess is that it isn't yet occupied.

They are about half way done with the demolition on the parking garage now.

^ Yes, at least according to first floor plans made available a couple years ago (might have been here on SSP) when The Streeter was getting underway.

One of the most notable things there was that McClurg Ct was to be widened so as to be fully flush with McClurg on the block immediately south.

Love the chips and footprint, Harry. Now that's ornament in precast - LaGrange take note!

Somebody, please tell B+L not to mess around with precast anymore. I used to complain about B+L towers being very repetitive, but if this is what we get when they experiment, I think they'd better stick to the same routine.

I do feel sorry for Oak Park on this one.

Duplicate entry - 200 W Lake

This building shows up on Page 1 under Proposed in 2 spots #21 & #47. I'm guessing its an error. It looks like only a single tower.
