It is over 500'. It hovers around 506'. That one will have to wait for one of the emporis guys to see the blueprints as this building went through some VE changes which made a minor adjustment to the height.

465 N Park - July 17 - site prep

A pile of sheet piles

The vibrator that eased them out

Not sure what this is - appears to work in conjunction with the vibrator.

^ Wow, thrilling shot hydrogen. I hope you can take that again when the south tower is finished and lit.

(Harry, of course, thanks for all your hard work too.)

That's the grabber jaw for woodies. The bottom is to the left in your pic. Mounts on the bottom of the vibro instead of the jaw for sheets.

Steely Dan's in town? Well whaddya know....

Thanks as always to everyone for the construction updates.

I'm still blown away by how much 353 N Clark, the hotel, Trump, and (soon) that massive glass parking garage have changed and will change the whole feel of that part of River North. Literally a few years ago it was all parking lots! That's some serious enclosure in a pretty short period of time, and likely a lot of dark shadows to Mr. Downtown's dismay..
