Thanks! Wondering for a while what was going in. Agreed - great redevelopment of the old structure. Better looking than the new construction for the Urban Outfitters next door - in par with the new building for Puma if not better.

Rumour is that the new Pacific Centre expansion will be home to a flagship Abercrombie and Fitch store. This is a bit more than a rumour but it is not offical yet.

I think someone posted renderings in the Downtown forum.....it'll replace the glass dome at Howe & Georgia. It appears to be a pretty massive store, somewhere around 10,000-15,000 sq. feet?

The old Burger King location on Granville will be a Payless shoe store.
The neighbouring Aldo Outlet store will relocate down the street into the old Oh My Goddard gallery near Nelson. Don't know what is taking it's place but it has already been leased.
A new Joey's restaurant will open in Bentall Centre later this year eventhough their new Burrard/Robson location is down the road
And Sciue Italian bakery/cafe is opening a Yaletown location at the Roundhouse square later this summer.

Joeys new location has been long talked about here. But it makes good sence to me.

the new Cactus Club up the street is PACKED when ever I go by.......that area of downtown has been under served in decent restaurants for a while......you even have a Elephant and the Castle coming in down burrard a block from the new Joeys location

there is - but i thought there was one in pac centre too already - perhaps not

before they came into Canada - they had about 3 stores in Blaine WA alone

nothing like saturating the market

i never see people in the stores - no one wants to admit to buying shoes there
