Anyone have that rendering of the new Safeway opening on Robson? It's no longer on Kasian's website.

New shots of construction

Here are some shots from earlier today. I'm surrounded by construction, so I thought I'd share. . . Enjoy! (All pics mine)
Shangri-La from one of my views:

3x zoom of Olympic Village construction behind, Coopers Point completed in front:

Dolce/Vita construction in front, and I thnk the crane for Capitol Residences behind (3x zoom):

Donovan topping out (3x zoom):

Extra stories added to 3 buildings in Yaletown

The site for 1098 Richards (a 228 unit 18 storey tower on a podium similar in massing to H&H). 2 heritage houses will join the other 3 on Helmcken and all 5 are being restored. Say bye-bye to Madame Cleo's AND, I think, Richards on Richards:

Thanks for the great pictures!

Does anyone know what's up with that small lot of grass on the right side of this image? It's kinda weird--perfect lawn, all fenced off, and I've never seen anyone in there.

Thanks for the pics.

BTW the 3rd rooftop in Yaletown (farthest right) is just having its membrane replaced.
And Rennie's ads in the Sun name the 1098 Richards project as "Richards" with scroll-y swirl-y design like the nightclub's logo.

^^ There has to be some bylaw prohibiting that (remember the mess regarding the billboard on top of that building on Broadway?). Would be nice though.

Haven't seen them lit up yet - but they do appear to be lightboxes.

It would also make sense ofor the Royal Bank Tower to be wrapped during the games, as it is very prominent.
