The Continental on Richmond Road has the same mention of retail space on the ground floor - a tiny speck of a store that may end up never being a store but rather a guest suite or something like it.
For all his beautiful buildings that is the biggest of Charlesfort's shortcomings.

The Glassworks building on Main St. has a small hair salon in it.
I completely agree about the Glasgow on Bronson... for many of the other buildings, retail may not have been viable, but for that one on Bronson, some nice ground floor retail could easily have been supported.
