I hope they've stuck with Busby's original concept for this project:

The plans are slightly revised, but they stick with the original idea and it still looks pretty damn nice.

If it's going to support a courtyard/patio on the roof, would the frame be steel and not aluminium?

The Penthouses' days are numbered as well. Pretty soon there will only be Brandi's and the No 5 left, the No 5 will probably be gone within 5 years. Maybe they can turn Storyeum into a giant gentlemans club, with champagne rooms.

The meeting regarding the SRO on the 12 city sites has been deferred as only ~20 of the ~100 speakers had a chance to speak, they are continuing it today when they should wrap it up. It's amazing about the complaints Jenny Kwan was spouting, it's not enough it's not even a start we need at least a 2:1 ratio or even 3:1 ratio for new SROs. Incredible after all these years that she still doesn't get it. Who is going to pay for it? I don't remember her NDP doing much when they were in power.

Well if a strip joint can be considered a commercial space, maybe they can move back in.

But homelessness has roughly tripled since the NDP left power, and BC is actually rolling in dough at the moment.

^That's what I was thinking. The province actually has the funds to fix all sorts of social problems, now if they only had the will.

Vote NDP then, that should go great to fix your desires for skyscrapers.

Anyways back ontrack, looks like 62 E Cordova will be sold as a condo development in the spring as will the Murray Hotel.
