Depending on where in Boulder Franco, you might be more like 30+ Boulder to downtown Denver on Hwy 36 then to I-25 is 30 Miles... You are out in the Northern boonies amigo...

Google maps gave me 1.3 miles from 1 W. Washington, Phoenix. The number looked a little high, so I investigated:

Google told me to start out by driving west on Washington, then diagonally through the center of Patriot's Square, then north on Central (I live north of copper square). I guess there are no residentially-challenged persons to run over in the park this time of year?

Using 1 E Washington resulted in a more road-oriented route with a distance of 1.1 miles.

i dediced to use 17th and California as the "middle point" searching from what appears to be the center of the cluster of downtown denver. By that I used google maps which said I was EXACTLY 1.0 miles from the "core". Since it used a non-linear route (and in fact a route that can be used to exactly compute the aerial distance by noting that the distance is basically that of 2 sides of a square, thus divide 1.0 by square root of 2) i'm .7071 miles from the core of my city.

According to Google Maps - a drive would be 30.7 miles. If you go as the crow flies, probably a few miles less.

16.3 miles, according to Google Maps' driving directions. I'd love to at least halve that by this time next year...

Just for fun I checked how far work is from downtown. It came up with 1.4 miles. Sometimes I feel like I live at work, LOL. Why, I'm there right now. By there, I mean here.
